Over two winter weekends, guests can enjoy a range of engaging events, see glittering illuminations light up the vines, shop for local and artisan gifts and pick up delicious wines for festive family meals. vinAmité Cellars – 8th Annual Cheese Fondue Party
November 25,26,27 December 2,3,4, 11am-5pm
Get into the holiday spirit with a complimentary 45-minute pairing of cheese fondue with wine tastings in a comfy, cozy holiday atmosphere, while stocking up on wine for festive dinners and local gifts.
Tinhorn Creek Vineyards – Winter Fun with Desert Sun
Saturday November 26, 10am-5pm
For a donation to local charity Desert Sun Counseling, guests can customize a holiday ornament, before the team lights up the vines with a twinkling display of festive lights at 4.30pm. Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association will match all funds raised. Complimentary featured tastings. On November 27, December 3 & 4, the wine shop will be open from 10am to 5pm with mulled wine, merchandise discounts and complimentary featured wine tastings.
Nostalgia Wines – OMG Santa!
Saturday November 26, 12-4pm
Nostalgia Wines is amping up the festive magic for the whole family with a visit from Santa Claus, mulled wine or hot chocolate around a roaring bonfire and the opportunity to shop for local, artisan gifts and stocking stuffers. Donations to charitable partners, Miracle on Okanagan Gala which is creating holiday care packages for patients in hospitals, palliative and nursing home care facilities and the Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon. Nostalgia is also supporting local artisans by offering retail space during their 12 Days of Shopping Pop Up Artisan Market, and offer fabulous gift baskets and complimentary gift wrapping for wine purchases.
French Door Estate Winery – Winter Open House
Saturday December 3, 1-4pm
An afternoon of holiday treats, live music and festive drinks on the winery’s heated patio.
Charcuterie & snacks, pastries and treats, and previously sold out wine will be on the menu. For tickets, contact the winery on (250) 498-0735.
Silver Sage Winery – Light Up the Vines
Saturday December 3, 4-9pm
At 4pm, the team will hit the switch on thousands of sparkling lights to light up the vineyards surrounding the winery. Throughout the evening, enjoy complimentary appetizers, wine tastings and shop for gifts for everyone on your list. Special gifts and treats for children will be given out.
Gold Hill Winery
Open for holiday shopping and complimentary wine tasting on Saturday December 3rd, 12-4pm. The winery is offering a free gift with every six bottles purchased.
Moon Curser Vineyards
Open for wine tastings and purchases November 25-27 and December 2-4, with 10% off all wine and retail items. All tasting fees will be donated to the Osoyoos Food Bank. Shop for gifting ideas with festive wine packages and complimentary gift wrapping for all wine purchases. Reservations recommended.
Adega on 45th Estate Winery
Open for wine tastings and purchases November 25-27 and December 2-4, with a donation to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and Ronald McDonald House. Find the Elf on the Shelf to be entered to win a festive gift basket.
Hester Creek Estate Winery
Sip complimentary mulled wine on Saturday November 26 and December 3, while shopping for holiday goodies and stocking stuffers. Enjoy the festive decorations and tree and complimentary wine tastings. Onsite restaurant, Terrafina, will be offering special menus throughout the holiday season.
Castoro de Oro Estate Winery
Open for wine tastings and purchases November 26-27 and December 3-4, 12-4pm (no tastings any other days until the spring). Complimentary tasting “flight of the day” (five wines). 25% off all bottled white wine or 15% off any Castoro de Oro wine with purchases of 12 bottles or more. For online orders, the winery is offering 15% discount on all wine purchases of 12 bottles or more, and 7% off 24 wine in can orders.

Enjoy a truly “wine” Christmas, making sure you have the perfect bottle to hand for every day of December! Wineries offering Advent Calendars this year include:
12 bottles of wine, festively wrapped, with a personalized greeting card and a gift, handmade by a local artisan. Choose from three calendar options: mixed, chilled and red. Very limited availability, for pick up at the winery or shipped throughout Western Canada at a flat rate.
12 mystery wines, all beautifully wrapped by the winery’s elves and with cryptic clues to the varietal inside. A carefully selected assortment of current releases (including some that are sold out at the winery) alongside a selection of library wines.
