Sip, savour and get ready for the holidays during Winter in Wine Country, taking place November 25-26 and December 2-3, 2023, in Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.

Tasting rooms throughout the region are preparing to embrace the holidays and welcome guests with two packed Winter in Wine Country weekends. From special seasonal treats to offers on festive gifting ideas, vineyard light ups to library tastings,  a visit to wineries in Oliver and Osoyoos is an exciting way to kick start the holidays.

Burrowing Owl Estate Winery

The wine shop at Burrowing Owl Estate Winery will be decorated for the season and guests can guess how many owl ornaments are on the tree for a chance to win a gift basket. On November 25, Pluto the Burrowing Owl will be making a very special visit to the winery, which donates 100% of its tasting fees to the protection of this endangered species.

Cellar Door & More, home to Jackson Triggs and Inniskillin

Enjoy chilly afternoon chili tastings, $15 for non-members, $10 for members.

Church & State

Church & State will host a live band and complimentary festive snacks on November 25th and December 2nd from 1-4pm. Visitors can also enjoy discounts on wine purchases, the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday list!

Culmina Family Estate Winery

Road 9 – Audrey’s Breads will be at Culmina Family Estate Winery on November 25 and December 2, selling artisan-made sourdough breads and baked goods. Complimentary wine tastings are also available as well as a 10% discount on purchases of six bottles or more.

Desert Hills Winery

• 15% off all wine shop purchases and 20% off for members (IN store Only)
• Complimentary Mulled Wine and Cookies
• Complimentary tastings with a food bank donation.

Hester Creek Estate Winery

Hester Creek Estate Winery will offer complimentary mulled wine in addition to their regular complimentary wine tastings, with mulled wine kits available for purchase, part of the Terrafina at Home collection. Hester Creek will also be inviting guests to delight in a Sweet or Savoury wine pairing experience. Guests will have the option to choose from a sweet option of three Terrafina at Home handcrafted chocolates paired with a pre-selected flight of wines or a savoury option of three types of cheese paired with pre-selected wines. The Sweet or Savoury wine pairing experience is $20 per person and includes three 2oz glasses of wine and three types of chocolate or cheeses that are expertly paired with the wines.

Lakeside Cellars

Throughout both Winter in Wine Country weekends, Lakeside Cellars will offer library tasting flights for visitors, the chance to sample something new and exciting with the opportunity to purchase bottles for gifts. Tasting flights are $10, waived with the purchase of two bottles. Reservations recommended.

Moon Curser Vineyards

Moon Curser Vineyards is offering a 15% discount on all wine and retail purchases during Winter in Wine Country weekends, along with complimentary bottle gift wrapping. All tasting fees will benefit South Okanagan Women in Need Society.

Nk’Mip Cellars

For both weekends Nk’Mip Cellars will be offering complimentary individual charcuterie plates with the purchase of wine tasting (Osoyoos location only) and 10% off the purchase of 6+ bottles of wine (Osoyoos and District Wine Village locations)

Nostalgia Wines

Shop for locally crafted, one-of-a-kind gifts at Nostalgia Wines pop up shops including Bridge Lake Wood Company for beautifully carved charcuterie boards (November 25) and JCI Designs Jewellery (December 2).

Silver Sage Winery

A twinkling holiday light up will take place at Silver Sage Winery on Saturday November 25 from 4pm with thousands of sparkling lights, alongside complimentary appetizers, wine tastings and gifts for children.

Tinhorn Creek Vineyards

At Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, enjoy a wine and chocolate pairing tasting experience and complimentary mulled wine, along with 20% off wine and gifts.

vinAmité Cellars

Both weekends (11am-5pm), vinAmité Cellars will offer a Cheese Fondue Party for guests; a complimentary 45-minute pairing of cheese fondue with wine tastings in a comfy, cozy atmosphere, with the stocking up on wine for festive dinners and local gifts.

Young & Wyse Winery

On Saturday November 25^th & December 2^nd weekends, in addition to our unWINE’d Hour ($2 flights and glasses of wine as well as 15% off bottles of wine enjoyed on site) – we also have Pit Stop Smokery joining us from 1-4pm and they will be making some delicious food to pair with our wine. We also will be setting up a tent outside with fire tables, and will have mulled wine available.
